The Ark-La-Tex Sports Foundation has partnered with the A.L.S. Association and local ALS Advocates, Jimmy and Mickie Roberts, for a Bass Fishing Tournament called “Lou Gehrig’s Disease can Kiss my Bass.”

The tournament will be held at Grice’s Landing in Ringgold, La on Saturday August 2.  Tournament registration begins at 5 a.m. and the fishing kicks off promptly at 6 a.m. through 1:30 p.m. with hourly weigh-ins and capping off at 2 p.m. with an official awards ceremony.

Entry fee is $35 per person or $70 for a two man team and if you pre-register by Friday July 25th you will receive a FREE Tournament T-Shirt! Merchandise will also be available for sale the day of the Tournament.

BBQ lunch plates will also be available for $8.00 each. The proceeds of this Tournament will benefit the Ark-La-Tex Sports Foundation as well as the ALS Association and will help raise funds to sustain patient care and support cutting-edge research by the world’s best and brightest scientists. It’s more than just a fishing tournament, it’s an opportunity to bring hope to ALS patients and their families, to raise money for a cure, and to come together with your friends and family to fight for something you care about.
