Great news for LSU baseball fans! One of the team's best players, has decided to forego his MLB draft spot, and rejoin the team.

Last year, Jared Poche was one of the most dominant arms in Baton Rouge, and was a big reason the team made their post-season run. It would be hard to visualize the same kind of run from the Tigers without Poche on the roster.

When his name was called in the MLB draft, a lot of people wrote off his senior season, and assumed he would just head straight into a pro career...but that's not how this will go according to the Louisiana Radio Network:

"Big news for the LSU baseball team. Left-handed starting pitcher Jared Poche will return for his senior season. Poche turned down a chance to play in the San Diego Padres minor league system. He was 9-and-4 last season."
