It's one thing to be there for your family when they need you to babysit for a couple days, but the story of Amy Dickson's commitment is something way above and beyond dedication.

In Amy's nomination letter that we received from Melissa Sagona, it was easy to spot that Amy and her husband are truly Angels from Heaven.

And that's why Amy Dickson is this week's Caught in the Act Award recipient. Just see the letter we got and you'll agree, she's a blessing to so many.

Hi Gary and Bristol,
My name is Melissa Sagona and I would love to nominate my wonderful friend Amy Dickson for this weeks caught in the act award. Here is a little about Amy....
Amy and Her husband are parents to grown children and like myself are in their 40's,working and enjoying life. A little over a month ago they received a call from out of state that their SIX great nieces and nephews (ages 18 months,4,6,8,10 and 15) had been removed from a bad situation and were on the verge of becoming wards of the state of Nebraska. Amy and Matt packed up their car and headed that way with out thinking twice bringing them back with little more than the clothes on their backs. To say this was an adjustment( for the kids especially) is an understatement. These two are exactly what this world needs more of. Amy and I have been friends are coworkers since 2011 and I absoutley adore her!! With the help of friends and coworkers we are trying to make this transition as easy as possible. Gary and Bristol PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE consider them for this weeks "Caught in the Act award" I cant think of anyone more deserving

Amy Dickson, thank you for being one of the biggest reasons why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star Steak House and Silver Star Smokehouse have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Amy to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
