American Idol Watch Party Tonight For Benton’s Garrett Jacobs

Just three weeks ago, we were happy to report that not one, but two hometown hopefuls made it through to Hollywood on American Idol! The first was Benton High School student Garret Jacobs and the second was high school basketball coach Cameron Theodos, an Evangel grad and accomplished worship leader.

While we didn't spot Garrett or Cameron on last week's episodes of American Idol, we did notice posts on Garrett's Instagram account leading us to believe that Cameron's journey on Idol is over, which we were later able to confirm. We wish Cameron nothing but the best and could not be happier with the way he represented our area. As for Garrett, we'll be following you every step of the way buddy! When it's time to show our support by voting, you can count on us!

As we continue to follow Garrett via social media, we've found that he's invited the public to join him tonight for an American Idol watch party starting at 6:15pm at Silver Star Smokehouse in Bossier City. Will he make it to the showcase round? We shall see! Hope to see you there and Geaux Garrett!
