Am. Idol Contestant a Mix Between Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson? [VIDEO]

American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina had a big night Wednesday as she performed Reba’s ‘Turn on the Radio’ and judges compared her to Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.

Alaina, the 16 year old from Georgia, belted out Reba’s tune with her own raspy twist. Judge Jennifer Lopez commented on how comfortable Alaina moved on the stage adding that Alaina doesn’t even know how good she is.

I am excited to see how this young lady grows throughout the competition. She definitely seems to belong in Country music, hopefully this competition helps open doors for her.
