There are many reasons to watch the upcoming 50th annual ACM Awards Show Sunday Night on CBS' KSLA 12, but I'll just give you my four biggest reasons to watch.

Hey wait, did I just say that it's the 50th annual Awards? Well there's another reason, you know the ACM's will do it big for the 50th!

    It's in our own backyard.

If you count Dallas as our own backyard, then yes... it's right around the corner.

This year's ACM Awards Show will be held at AT&T Stadium (formerly Cowboys Stadium) where the Dallas Cowboys play. Chances are that you'll know someone who is at the show.

    The list of performers.

When was the last time Garth Brooks and George Strait performed at the same Awards show? It was probably in the 90's.

Whether Garth lip-syncs or not, I'll be excited to see him perform. Other performers slated for the ACM stage are George Strait, Jason Aldean, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Reba, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, and Sam Hunt. That's an all-star line-up!

    You can go backstage!

Well, you can virtually go backstage on the internet.

"Second Screen" experiences are all the rage these days.  On Sunday night during the ACM Awards, you'll be able to log on to ACMBackstage.com and see all the star interaction happening backstage during the live broadcast.  Presumably, this is where all the cool stuff happens like when Blake Shelton plays some stupid joke on Craig Morgan. I'll be checking out this new feature from the ACM's.
