Even if you’ve never fished in a bass tournament, this one would be a great way to get started as you would also be helping an incredible cause.  May 18 and 19, it’s the 22nd Annual Ouachita River Big Bass Tournament to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Louisiana.  

The Ronald McDonald House is a temporary home-away-from-home that serves and sustains families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment in hospitals inNortheast Louisiana.

$2,250 will be paid out per hour of the tournament with the biggest bass of each hour receiving $1,000.  Additionally, the largest bass of the tournament receives $10,000, 2nd place $2,500 and 3rd place $1,000.  There will also be a drawing among all competitors for $2,500 cash!

Tournament headquarters will be at Lazarre Park in West Monroe, Louisiana.  You can register online HERE to fish one day or both days.  Registration forms can also be picked up at The Honey Hole, Toledo Tackle or the Ronald McDonald House.
